Elmo makes everything better!

I was a good mommy today. I remembered to let Gabbie play outside before it got dark! I went to take out the trash and she ran out the door, so I found her shoes and let her "run circles!" which is her favorite activity! Mia also really got into it today and chased her around and played ball with her! Mia is our dog by the way! I'm glad that we have Mia now. She is so good with Gabbie and really keeps her busy and playing well without me having to play with her all the time. Which at the moment is rather difficult! I have a hard time climbing stairs, much less trying to "run circles"!

So Gabbie had fun, and Mia exercised, and I sat and talked on the phone! Then we came in, after Gabbie had stripped down to her diaper and shoes! I went to wash her down, and then saw that she had scraped one knee, and had a rash on her other knee and one entire arm. Great..... Now I know she is allergic to something out there, she had a similar rash a couple days ago after playing out there! I washed her off and when I touched her boo-boo, she freaked out! She went from not caring to seeing that she had bled, and was not impressed! She also did not want me to put anything on it, because unfortunately the last time I did that to a bug bite it stung! Neosporin, thankfully, is gentle, and our Elmo band-aids were a huge hit! No more crying, just happy faces since she now had friends on her knee! She has already been talking to the band-aid and thinks it is great. I put Aveeno anti-itch on her arm and leg and hope that clears up the rash. Poor baby girl. That is one reason why the outdoors and I have never gotten along very well, I always come in itchy! yuck!
