Dollar Store Special

So, we went to Deals last night, looking for prizes for Amber's school kids. We found this. A cake mix by RoseArt that required only water and NO HEAT to "cook." It was $1, so we bought it. We had to see how this worked. We brought it home, mixed in the warm water, put it in the little pans and watched. Yep, the little cakes puffed up and set like they were supposed to. But they were not very cake-like. Lets give you a clue. The primary ingredients were: sugar, gelatin, flour, and sodium bicarbonate. The sodium bicarb helped make them puffy, and the gelatin made them solid. WEIRD. But Gabbie had fun, and I took fun blogworthy pics! I felt like I was in college again, mixing up concoctions in the dorm room on a Friday night.
