FRUSTRATION!!!
Okay, I know i wrote 3 blog entries today. Along with posting pictures. And now they are gone. GONE. Blogger says sometimes this just, happens. No reason. It wasn't like I didn't publish them, I did. I know I did, because Amy read one and was going to comment on it, but blogger was acting weird and she couldn't. Apparently it was really weird, because now those posts are GONE. It would have been easier to lose pics, those I can post again. Argh. Will try to fill in the gaps, but it will be different!

manicure and pedicure baby!
I went with Heather the day before the wedding to get her nails redone. I wanted mine to look nice too, and since I was wearing sandals, wanted my toes to be pretty also. So I got my first pedicure. Oh so fun! Even though I thought that little lady was going to take all the skin off of my feet.
They looked nice and still do, as you can see! I'm thinking about trying to keep my nails like this, they feel good! And they aren't acrylics, they are just painted. and shaped better.

new favorite subjects
Gabbie has some new favorite things that she likes to discuss. Burping and Pooping. Oh the joys of a two year old!
She has realized now when she needs to burp and will inform you of this right before she actually does burp. Then she laughs!
She also now loves to ask everyone after they have been in the bathroom if they had to poop. Then she will tell them about when she pooped and how it was stinky and yucky and we had to wash her off. And after awhile you stop turning red over this, and just let her be. After all, she's only two. And I love her!

Weddings and such
Well, I went to Heather's wedding with my two little ones, and survived. If Hanna survived the trip and still ever wants to have kids, we still have to find out! I know it was hard on her, but I appreciated it so very much. She put up with a lot, and without her I would have been so stressed and had so little fun.
I enjoyed seeing old friends and getting to know acquaintances better. It was bittersweet to see Heather get married though. I am so happy for her, and everything was so wonderful and I know she is marrying the right person. But it also means that she will be in Vancouver for 2 years and then in India for who knows how long. Possibly forever. That is hard. I know that is where God wants her and for her that is perfect and awesome, and home. But the rest of us will continue to miss her.
Amy had to say goodbye to friends over the weekend also, and it never gets easier. Amy had known her friends even longer, and had had kids at about the same time and watched them grow. Now they will also be far far away. Hard, yet it is part of life. Just a part that we wished we could ignore. Pain is never fun. And sometimes you begin to wonder what good comes from it.
You feel so incredibly selfish when thinking that all you care about is how you feel, instead of the other person. Yet you do hurt when they leave. You are glad they are off to have an adventure and lead their life and know they are doing what God has asked. But you are still here, living the same life, and they are changing. They are going, you are staying. And you know when you meet again, you both will have changed.
Okay, I'm rambling.
The wedding was beautiful. And as soon as I have pictures of me being beautiful (lol) and Heather being absolutely gorgeous, I will post them. I took pics the day before and day after the wedding, being slightly busy the day of the wedding!
Enjoy. And congrats to Siddarth and Heather Chatterjee.
HOW DID YOU DO THAT????
She's amazing, thats how.
I have subscribed to your blog with a web based feed reader that doesn't update very often. It still had the old version of your feed... which means it had your old posts. The feedreader I normally use updates every 5 minutes, so your posts had already vanished there. Almost as quickly as the attention span of anyone who started reading this comment.
