Oh, David!

My mom found these books called "Oh, David!" by David Shannon, written as he remembers his childhood. They are very simple books with crazy illustrations, and Gabbie loves them. Mainly because they are so simple she can basically "read" them to herself. She has picked up on saying "Oh, David!" and now says that to Davy, which is exceptionally cute.

She also tells Davy, "it's alright", "don't cry", "Oh, he's so cute." She also comments on his "noisy tummy" when he has to burp or has gas. She imitates me more and more, she is a great big sister. She also is figuring out that she is the "big sister", Davy is the "little brother" and I am the "mama." Relationships can be tricky, and she is doing well.
