We have been so busy this month, mainly with everyday life, that I don't know even where to begin. We have gone to a birthday party, had our own birthday party for Joey, had Gabbie and now Joey be sick, started BSF for the fall, met new people, made new friends, all sorts of things. Needless to say, it has been tiring.
I feel like today I deserve sort of a day off. The kitchen is relatively clean, just a handful of dishes that need to be done. I straightened the living room yesterday and cleaned my desk off. Including putting all of Joey's miscellaneous stuff into a closet, I was in a major anti clutter mood. One of those dangerous things that makes you want to throw away things that just happen to get in your way. I didn't do too much damage though.
Two days ago I re-upholstered one of our office chairs that was on my nerves. It now looks and feels better. Yay me! I made Sarah's very cool sheepy cake that you can see at gentlewhisper.com. And I made a very yummy red velvet cake for Joey's birthday. A little too yummy, it is tempting. So those have been my creative outbursts latley.
I tried taking Gabbie's bup away today, that went over very badly. After almost an hour of crying and sobbing, I gave in, I couldn't handle it anymore. I had made her a chart showing her if she slept withouth her bup and earned stickers that she could earn a tricycle. She cried at naptime that she didn't want a bicycle, just a tiger bup, to go to Wal-Mart and buy her a new one (I had thrown hers away). Oh well. Joey said he will take them away when she turns three. I feel like I lost the battle, cuz I did, but Joey didn't like her crying.
Okay, my hands are starting to hurt. I will try to post some pics later, or check out the kids site.

I took Jer's 'paci' away right before he turned 2... It wasn't pretty. Do you remember that? I tortured the boy.
Sarah just 'lost' hers and didn't seem to notice.
