I have wanted a fall arrangement for my front door, but have never made one. Okay, that's not true. I made one when we lived in the apartment 5 years ago. Since then, I haven't done much with flowers. Well, Amber inspired me the other day, so I tried my hand at it again. I bought some flowers at half-off for a total of $20 instead of close to fifty, and got four arrangements out of them. Big hint when buying silk flowers: If you want an arrangement that has many different things in it, like mine do, don't buy small bunches of lots of things, instead find a big bunch that is a variety of flowers that you can mix with foliage and turn into something of your own. The main reason I saved so much money was because I bought one bunch of the "oak" leaves, one of red leaves and a big bunch of mixed fall flowers that I cut apart and used how I wanted to. That was fantastic! This has definitely sparked a bug to continue decorating, and I am already planning the next two projects for the front door. Happy Autumn everyone!

Nice! Not sure which I envy more... you're ability or your motivation.
