crazy week

We have had a crazy week. A very crazy week. Busy, busy.

Sunday: Nico arrived in Tulsa to come and stay with us indefinitely. He basically moved here, and we are his "temporary" housing. So he is settling in and him and Joey are going to convert the garage this weekend into his own little studio apartment of sorts.

Monday: Joey and Nico go and find this guy that they have been looking for and find him! He just opened a martial arts school downtown and they decide that is in the best interest of all of us for our school and his school to work together, share a space and try to make a good profit while helping people.
I have a dr. appointment. Find out I am even more dilated than before, but still haven't thinned out all the way. We pick an induction date, hoping that Davy will be here before then. Then I cry on the dr.'s shoulder about how stressed I am, and she stays and talks to me, gives me advice and says she will do anything to help. Other than letting me have the baby early. Because after all, my body is fine and Davy is thriving. Amazingly enough!

Tuesday: Joey and Nico are out late, again, talking to Ernie (the guy they found) and figuring things out.

Wednesday: Joey gets up after 2 hours of sleep to meet with Ernie again and talk to the newspaper people. That of course wakes up Gabbie and I am tired all day!

I tell my mom about Nico living here, she gets upset and makes me upset and stressed out. Oh well, now she will have to just deal with it. I think I may be in labor, but of course am not, swim, get sunburned, etc. Then I come home and an old friend from home that lives here, but we never see, is in our driveway. Him and his sister had a fight and he needs a place to sleep for the night, so I have him come on in. I end up staying up late to help him get settled and then talk to his sister on the phone for an hour, she is lonely and her husband is in Iraq, and she is sick of her brother. He just needs to grow up and is having a hard time doing that right now. Okay, craziness! In between this I am trying to gestate and take care of a 2 year old!

Today: The boys all sleep in after another late night. Joey is now in a better mood, thank goodness. I try to keep Gabbie and me quiet for a few hours so my whole house can sleep. My mom calls and says she is sorry for how she reacted and that she wants to change. She is tired of living with opinions based on rumors and such and wants to be able to come here not thinking bad things about Nico and being able to encourage him and such. Yay! That relieved my stress over that. Even though it may still be a little tricky. I did manage to do laundry, vacuum and mop today. Good for me! Now I think we may go shopping for something special for Gabbie. So I had better go. I'll try to keep you updated on my craziness that is life!
